I'm curious why no one publishes or talks about torgue specs on boat motors. I'm sure a carbed 5.7 has more torque than a MPI 5.0, but how much more, and at what RPM? The specs on my new Tahoe Q6 made me more curious. I got the MPI 5.0 becuse I wanted a F.I. V, and the 5.7 offered in that boat is carb only. Tahoe rates the lower HP 5.7 at 1 mph faster than the 5.0, likely due to it's superior torque, despite a 10 HP deficit. Anyone have any links to dyno plots or torque ratings?
