1968 bayliner mercruiser overheating

what can be the causes of my 1968 bayliner mercruiser to overheat. i just replaced the manifold; since it was cracked. any suggestions of what is causing my boat to over heat????

How is the water pump? When did you cahange it last?

dont know about the boat overheating but the engine will if not enough water is getting in , circulating properly or water not getting out.

Well, if you don`t say WHAT IT IS, we can only offer a best guess.

raw water pumps are the first place to look for overheats.
