I recently purchased a thompson with a omc 175hp and cobra outdrive.I ran into some problems tuning it and when I looked for the i.d. tag,I found it was actually a mercruiser.It is a 1987 175hp. v-6.I have all tune-up info except point gap and dwell.Don't want to buy another manual just to get point settings.Can anyone help me out.
