This alternator will not charge......ive taken it off and had it tested and seems to be fine with 15amp.......it has 3 wires on it......1 large orange, 1 black, 1 purple.......purple wire is cut..........purple wire on alternator dead ends and the other end is connected to a regulator...... This is on a 5.8, with omc..........any advice????????????????
