I'm having a problem with the outdrive. It moves down (in) but it won't move back up. I believe it to me an electrical problem because I traced down the wires and there are 2 that do not go anywhere, Blue and Purple don't go anywhere. can anybody tell me where these two wires might go?

thank you,

-Eric

Does it have a "Trailer up" button? Does that work?

Purple is generally +12 Volt supply when the ignition switch is on, and the only blue wire I can find on the diagram is light blue to the oil pressure gauge. For your trim: Do you have a trailer switch, does that work? If it does you probably have a bad trim limit switch. If it doesn't you may have a switch or solenoid problem. Can walk you through the test, post results.
