Mercruiser power steering

1992 19ft Maxum boat with Alpha one gen 2 has older style steering assembly. Actuator is rusted and needs servicing.

Is newer style assembly compatible if I was to install it?

I am planning on going with teleflex sate-t qc steering as well.

Ayuh,... I believe the only differene is the hoses, 'n how they attach...

If its a matter of fitting the hoses i should get some adapters/bushings for it.

Bought actuator part 866200A01, Ill find out what differences there are soon.
