Hi, I'm having trouble on reaching my oil filter on my mercruiser. It's block mounted, and i have a remote to put on it, but as it stands i just cannot reach under the engine to get at it. Any advice?
I've got a 89 larson DC215 mid cabin cruiser with a 4.3L V6. The engine is down in a hole below deck. There's a battery compartment partitioned on that side of the motor and my boat has a heat exchanger so the intake bulk is larger. Is it really an engine pull to get this filter?
