Engine Paint

I am rebuilding a '67 Mercruiser 160. I plan on painting it after it is put together. Is this the right time to do that? What type of paint should I use? Is there special engine paint for marine purposes?

Well, You Could use Merc. Phantom Black, OR Go buy a couple cans of Rustolium black for Less money....<br />There's Nothing Special about engine paint... It doesn't get all that Hot....
