Was wondering how to remove this shifter..I already removed the allen screw on bottom of it..It is loose now but it seems the throttle only button has to be popped out?.
Check the adults only section. You can get the manual for that control unit. I know on my 3000 unit the throttle button comes out but it's different than yours.
The black plastic module by my open end wrench is what "held" my controller NOT the button...It is a wire harness keeper..As you can see the wires can be unplugged and routed out the control arm...Just notate the connections (colors) before you do...The Button simply pulled off once I got the cover off.
