I have had an issue with the Propeller shaft bearing carrier comming loose on my Bravo III.
It happened once last year and twice this year. I have tightened the bearins shaft carrier using the specific carrier tool and torqued it to specifications. 150 Ft. Pounds per the factory manual. The outdrive seems to be ok though it looses oil as soon as the carrier loosens and then the dash alarm sounds. Could this be an issue with having to torque it and run it to operating tem and then retorque?
