I use those rocker nuts on all my builds with Hyd cams. Makes it easy to adjust. I adjust all my valves with the motor running though. You can accually adjust the valves by hand. Thats how easy those nuts screw down with the motor running.

Is this engine actually a marine motor, or is it an automotive engine? There are some minor differences, specifically the head gasket has no steel in it, and the freeze plugs in the block are brass. The cam also typically has a different profile, though truck cams work OK.
