timing and adjusting valves changes

question if you adjust your valves, does it throw of your igintion timing. do you need to reset it..how about you carb mixtures. do they change with valve adjustments as the valves are closing and opening more...
i am running good now . just need to know the answer

Timing and valve adjustment have nothing to do with each other.

By adjusting your valves, you may slightly increase the time the valve is open but not enough to throw off the mixture. The only time you would ever have to compensate for mixture is if you put a different cam in.
