Working on a 86 mercruiser 5.7.the engine has a bearing knock.So i was going to pull the engine and get a crank kit from the local auto store.The label on the valve cover says it's a CCW rotation but when standing in frt of the engine and spinning it over with the starter the crank pulley spins clockwise.local boat dealer wants over 500 bucks just fo the crank.I can get a crank and matching bearings from the local auto store for 232.00 bucks
