Got my new fuel pump today, and yes the arm is very different from my '84 that the cam chewed up, so thats good news.
Question is - they gave me TWO gaskets and quarter-inch one made of metal and cork? Which of these do i need? All?. Just one regular gasket?
The instructions didnt mention anything but a "gasket and flange" although I think flange refers to the pump itself

im told this is a "phenolic spacer" and I need to use it plus both gaskets???????

edit - you can delete all this now, i used the spacer and both gaskets, engine running great :)
Clean oil, temperature holding good. timing is at 6 below (although it jumps around alot)
very happy

Weird the instructions don't mention it though
