So thanks to everyone's help on the forum, I got my '97 Chaparral 1930 SS started up in the driveway. It has a Merceuiser 4.3 LXH gen+.
One thing I observed is that water only seems to be coming out one side of the drive. The left has a steady stream, while the right only has exhaust and some occasional spray. Being brand new to boating, I don't know if this is normal, or is cause for alarm. My gut tells me it should be the same on both sides. I posted some pics to show what I'm talking about.
