When I first start my 1991 Larson Hampton 220 mercury Mercruiser Alpha One it runs just fine. After 15 mins or so at idle it will bog out. It won't start again unless I hit the throttle and apply some gas. It will stay started and running as long as gas is getting put to it while throttled . Soon as I shift and let it go to idle it bogs out.

Please help

First thing that comes to my head is a stuck choke. Too rich engine will do this after its warm.
But I know nothing about that boat. :(

Please help

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Pull the fuel filter, dump the contents into a clear container, 'n look for anything other than clean fresh gasoline,...

After checking fuel contents I think your looking at a carb rebuild, the idle circuit is clogged up
