Pulled lower assembly off to change water pump impeller. Found gear oil pooled at gear selector shaft. I believe it to be bad seal due to working of cars as a mechanic but not sure with boat drive system. Also noticed gear oil in exhaust section of prop. Thank you for any imput and your time. Would have uploaded photos but was unable to.
