My carb is supposed to have 9 screws holding down it's air horn. I only find 8, and the part is not budging. Any insight?
I have only blank unused space in the spot directly in front of the choke plate where a screw is supposed to be.

I found that to be stubborn, it would not turn on my first go round. Maybe I might warm it up a bit with a heat gun.

on edit, nope. I locked a couple of nuts on the air cleaner stud, nothing. Then I went vice grips, nada.
I'm stopping to think and avoid breaking stuff!

But you are right, all the pics in the manual have it with the stud removed. Here I go back with the heat. I'm going to put the outer screws back in to see if they help me free the center stud.
