Solenoid clicks but is not passing juice

This is good enough

If your saying your getting 12.1V when the key is released into Run, then this is wrong. It should have no voltage

In short from what I read is:
Have 12V on Red/Purple large post of slave
Turn key to start, voltage on small Yel/red stud and relay clicks but no voltage on large Yel/Red stud
Starter will turn over when manually jumping large studs on slave

Sounds like a bad slave solenoid to me

You got it,
I put my old solenoid back in and she starts.
Old solenoid has no marks on the terminals.
The new solenoid has an I and an S on the small terminals.
I connected the black/yellow NSS to the I side.
Maybe I had this backwards?

Orange wire comes from the ALT unless it's been changed or from old motor

Could be

The Red/Pur goes to the ALT not from, the wire feeds a lot of stuff on the motor and also powers the field winding of the ALT.

orange - The main output is the ALT going back to the Bat via starter post

Orange is the color for Accessory Feed or Alternator/Generator output

(SAE standard wiring code)
