one piece exhaust manifolds

I have a 97 4.3 vortec I/O (not the metric engine) the block and the intake was cracked. I leak tested the one piece exhaust manifolds and they where good so I am ordering a reman motor question is the manifolds with the risers better than the one piece that I have now?

if you have cracked block and intake manifold, I would junk the one piece manifolds also. not worth the risk

Ayuh,.... Those manifolds were Junk back in 1997, yer lucky they ain't killed yer motor years ago,....

Go with a separate manifold/ riser elbow retro kit,....
