Hi,
I have two mercruiser 305s. One rotations in standard direction and one in opposite direction. I have two standard rotation 350s (vortec) from a 2001 boat that is like to rebuild to use to replace the 305s, however, the vortecs use a roller camshaft and I'm not sure if or how these roller camshafts can be made to rotate in opposite rotation. Has anyone had experience in opposite rotation engines?
Thanks.
Ps the 305s were non vortec engines without roller cams and I'm lead to believe it was easier for these to be built as opposite rotations engines
