Ok the 04 transom assembly is a 2.0 not a 2.20...

I would get the drive/transom assy combo. Start out with 24p props.

My 1997 7.4L (carb'd) 1.81:1 came with 24p props.

It's just right for my 21ft FourWinns (4200lbs total)

For a slightly larger boat like yours, I think I would want a 2.00:1 drive. If the 24p props are a little "tall", you can go to 22 (3-blades)

Before you write the check, call Searay and ask them what came standard in a 250 with the 4600RPM (carb'd) 7.4 and the Bravo III. They should have data for it.

The 95-98 250 Sundancers could be ordered with the BB/B3. Like I stated above pretty much the same/hull boat as your '90. Go over to the SeaRay forum and find out what gears/prop sets they came with. Why guess or speculate what you should run? No sense reinventing the wheel IMHO.

Ok I've decided to just replace the motor with a fresh 454 along with the bravo 3. I went ahead and ordered the edelbrock 1410 carb with the electric choke. Where do I connect the 2 wires to in the harness for the choke?

One goes to the purple wire (12V) the other goes to engine ground

Or, depending on the type of boating you do, don't hook it up at all.

I only boat in the summer. (when it's warm)........ For 10 years so far, I've left my automatic choke disconnected and permanently open.

Couple of pumps on the throttle is all I've ever needed to get it running initially.

Cannot remember if you're in salt, but if you are, you might also consider adding a full closed cooling system if you don't have one already.......... (I did mine when I swapped out the OMG460)

I got mine here
