83 Johnson outboard 115hp

Have a problem after I started the motor! When I throttle to go it stalls a lot of the time and finally when it goes its bogging out at half throttle, and then it kicks into full speed after a while! It does this a lot any help would be great? Some people told me it could be fuel pump or filter

Needs to be moved to the Johnson/Evinrude section so it gets the attention it deserves.

When trying to run WOT, have a buddy constantly prime the fuel hose bulb. This will overcome the fuel pump and will flow fuel directly into the carb bowls. If the engine runs normally as long as you constantly prime the fuel hose bulb, it's likely you have a fuel delivery problem. That could include a weak fuel pump.
