I have a 1998 Johnson 150. Motor starts easily and idles well for several minutes. However after several minutes or an attempt to accelerate the motor dies. I can maintain an idle by pumping primer bulb occasionally but this only works at an idle. I have replaced bulb and fuel line from tank to motor. Does the loss of pressure on the bulb indicate a problem between the bulb and the tank? Or could it be an issue with fuel diaphragm or VRO pump?

Check for air leaks into the fuel line. Check the main strainer under the airbox. It should have an oring and a gasket and be snug. Are you using the OMS system or premixing?
