89 Evinrude 225 hp 70psi Compression all Cylinders

I am looking at buying an Evinrude 225 hp outboard so I did a compression test on it yesterday. It has been sitting for a number of years but still turned over ok. All 6 cylinders came up at 70 psi. My gauge is good because I checked my merc engine and they are all 120 psi. Could this low compression be caused from sitting or possibly a bad oil injection system? Thanks; Darryl Q.

You could run it for a few minutes and try again, might be stuck rings, interesting they all came up even. More testing required!
You run it on premix while you check the oiler is working

Some of those motors ran okay on lower compression. Did you take it out and run it ??
