Please help me to diagnose the problem. The motor was running fine until lately. It starts a little hard and shuts few seconds after start. Also tachometer repeats turn on cycle after start (lights and one beep). I did replace spark plugs and hi and low pressure filters. I also clean idle control valve with engine intake cleaner. What else may cause a problem?

If it starts up and then shuts down a few seconds later, AND THEN THE TACH LIGHTS CYCLE, you have lost main battery power to the engine for a split second....just enough to shut it down. Then power comes back, and your tach lights cycle. (For whatever reason)

So, where to start? You have to check everything electrical from the battery to the engine. Battery connections, key switch, harness connectors, main power relay, and all grounds would be some key places to start.

Under the electrical box plastic cover, check battery connections well. Look for corroded battery cable ends, also.
