Starter for 1979-1980 Johnson 85hp

I have a Johnson 4 cylinder 85hp outboard. The starter seems to have gone bad. I was attempting to order a new one but I'm not sure if the motor is a 1979 or 1980. Does anyone know if the starter is different between these two years?

The original starter part numbers for both engines supercede to the same 2015 factory part number: 586283 The starters may have had different part numbers (different vendors) but they all function the same and are considered interchangeable.
