I've got a 1950 johnson QD-10 10HP that has no spark. After searching this forum I cant seem to find the right points or coils for this one. It has points unlike others I've heard and the coils are a bit bigger than the one everyone else says to use. Does anyone have the part numbers for them?

Coils and points may be obtained from Sea-Way Marine. If not, try the Webvertize on the AOMCI web site. Judging by your pictures though, your coils look good.
You can likely clean up the points and see if the spark comes back..

Yes those coils and points are unique to the QD-10 model ----marketed in 1949.---Some have had success in removing the coil part from the laminations and installing the newer style coils on the old laminations..

One of the coils does not look too good. You can see the copper windings exposed. Coil part number is 580040. They aren't cheap.

Thank you guys. I was a little confused with these types of points at first. I don't know why but the previous owners and them set all the way back and I'm assuming the points need to touch the shaft to work.
Also I've removed one of the coils and have a new coil coming to try and recoil the coils. Wow never thought I'd use the word coil so much in one sentence haha
