2002 Johnson 175 hp possible fuel leak

2002 Johnson 175 hp. I had a fuel leak that would drip down my lower. upon inspection i noticed the hose circled wasn't attached and was actually hanging down between the carbs. The end attaches to the other circled picture. so the question is, can gas leak from a disconnected pulse line?

Check your primer hoses, I believe (from your pic) the hanging hose between carbs is to primer. What is circled is the vapor pump, the primer is below that,the hoses can come loose, or the little fittings break off.

the second picture is the vapor pump...I think it involves pulling vapors out of the motor and reusing them in the fuel chain...... the Pulse fitting is bigger and all the ones I have seen were blue anodized on part of the fitting... and it is usually under the carbs in the middle and goes directly to the fuel pump assy
