I just bought a 2003 Crestliner superhawk 1700 with a Johnson 90hp 2 Stroke I had to fix some wiring, The isolator bank for charging two batteries is broken and there is a wire coming from the top of the engine near the back that is yellow and silver in color. I metered it and it is showin 7.2 volts any Idea what this wire is it appears to be 8 gauge or 6 gauge in size? Thanks for any help

Call the people that built the isolator. They may have a wiring diagram 'cause that is an add on.

Agree with boobie, yellow/silver is normally stator.
