1997 johnson venom 200hp fuel problems

i have a 97 venom 200 4 stoke when i first put it the water its cold natured to start but once it starts it runs fine then when i put it in gear and push on the hot foot it will not go and dies the only way i get it to run in gear is if i have the choke ingaged but if im running and stop then get on it again after its already been on plane there is no issue but if it is shut off for a few mins the problem starts again anyone have any ideas

Dirty carbs, weak VRO output,improper/dirty jets or needles.....

Ok thanks how do I tell if I have a weak vro

What would it take for me to take my vro off and mix oil and fuel would I have to change my fuel pump

Okie, I already told you this is not a four stroke.
Post the model number so we know exactly what engine you have.

Four strokes don't have VROs for example.
