Just wandering if there would be anything else besides a head gasket or crack that would cause this. If its a crack would it be easily seen since its aluminum?

Basically water spitting out carb..pulled the head off and one cylinder clean compared to the other, so water def in cylinder. Compression over 100 psi in both cyclinders.

Anything I need to go ahead and replace besides the gasket and thermostat?

Is it the bottom or top cylinder?

You need to pull the head & have a look see. If you are lucky the problem may be limited to a blown head gasket. I suspect that you have another problem as water and/or fuel should not spit out of the front of the carb. I would pull the carb and sheck the reeds.
