Cannot I.D. Power Head (Pictures)

I'm trying to find out the year and HP of my powerhead (no lower end to help). Called BRP services but they were unable to i.d. the motor from the numbers off the i.d. plug (J3074537). The numbers on the crankcase are (381359). Thank you.

That looks to be a 1968 / 1969 model 6 hp.---An excellent motor.----Actual year does not matter as parts were similar from year to year.

Agreed, that's a 6hp, and color is to be as expected 1968-69
