1993 Johnson 40HP, Panther 55 tilt problems--- motor runs,will not go up or down.

Looks like I have a faulty actuator, does anyone know if these can be rebuilt?

If you mean the trim cylinder then yes they can be rebuilt. There are a few videos on you tube. Would need your engine serial number to determine what parts you could use.
