johnson (stinger)75 hp 1976

Can anyone please help or advise ?<br />I have a Johnson 75hp engine which has just had 2 new pistons the carbs stripped & cleaned and a new power pack.The problem is that sometimes when the engine is under load and accelerating it just dies off and stalls.It only happens ocassionally and had this problem before the rebuild.Any suggestions , could it be timing etc ???

Those 1976 70hp and 75hp carburetors had a engineering flaw. Contact me at my address below and I'll send you the bulletin on them. Be sure to remind me of what we're speaking of.
