I recently cleaned the carburetor on my Evinrude 15 hp 1976. When I was finished I still had this part. I have looked at the parts list and the service manual but I cant find this part listed. Does anyone have an idea if it is a part for the carburetor? It has a small hole through it.

Maybe the others can tell from the pic.but I need a couple of clearer images.
Perhaps it is the cam follower adjustment screw.Though if it has a hole through it I would guess a needle valve part.

A definite indication of size would be useful too. I'm guessing but between 2 and 3 cm long?

Not part of the carburetor !-----Possibly from the starter lock mechanism.

Looks like a main jet or float valve seat, but quite a bit too long for your engine, sure you didn't have the snowmobile apart.......

OOppss....I found out it is a bicycle part that somehow got into my bag of motor parts. Sorry. Thank you for trying.
