Can I flush this motor when fully tilted up? <br /><br />Mac

Mac.... I don't know what year your motor is but if you have the flushing system that is the removable tell-tale and you screw a hose in, you can do it with the motor fully tilted up, it is designed to do with a boat in a slip, where you would not be able to flush with the motor down. If you don't have that flushing system and you are using muffs I don't think you can have the motor tilted completely up, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it would run very well like this or flush enough to make it worth your while. If you are using muffs your better off doing it out of the water with the motor down.

It is the type where you remove the tell-tale to flush.<br />Mac

With that engine in the "fully tilted " position while running will pose a problem with the carb bowl floats.I personally would not run it that way.If it's just a static flush then it wouldn't hurt ,however the engine needs to be positioned vertically to fully drain the water passages.
