Evinrude paint code

Hello I have a 1972 Evinrude 50hp Lark model <br />#50273 C I am repainting it and can't find paint or paint codes it' a gold color used from 1971 to 1975. Tempo no longer makes it.<br />thanks jim

I see that Tempo is still showing 1971-1975 GOLD on their website. Maybe you can get your local dealer to order it for you. They have to buy six cans, so a lot of companies only carry the ones they can move. Tempo Paint

Hello Jim.<br />If you cannot find it or the quantity is to large,there is a different solution.Take your cowling to one of the special order automotive paint shops.They will stick it under a scanner and their computer will come up with the exact mix.Their prices are very reasonable.<br />Even better,a picture, or an original ad can be scanned and you will have an even closer color match.I think it is the Sikkens paint company that has the best matches.
