Battery size question..

Am trying to eliminate some of the weight in the stern of my 11" Whaler super sport with a 20hp Johnson.....now I have a group 24 deep cycle start battery, which is
pretty heavy & I imagine overkill. Am wondering what is the smallest/lighest battery I can use for a start battery. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Should have a group 24 but a lawn mower battery may work.

I am using an Interstate battery designed for an electric single bag golf cart; it is the same size and weight as a lawn mower battery and works very well for my 15hp Rude.
