Can anyone tell me if the nozzle is supposed to be removed on this motor (Model #18002e) when cleaning the carb? It has a slot at the top for a screwdriver, but if it's supposed to come out mine is really stuck. In the only other post I found on the forum about this, someone had one that was all bent up from the prior owner trying to remove it.

Comes out only with special tool or a screwdriver ground to fit; you don't need to take it out only clean it with a wire and solvent. Good luck

Not so. I believe the question is the main nozzle, not the main jet. The main nozzle does NOT come out.

The main nozzle is part of the upper carb body. Clean it good and leave it alone.

I was referring to the main nozzle, not the fixed jet. I will leave the nozzle alone. I already got the jet out by grinding down a screwdriver to fit thanks to one of FR's posts from a few year's ago. Thanks for the help!
