Any time I need a key whether it be a Merc or an OMC I just take the controls or boat to the nearest marina.They have a ring of keys and just try them until they find the right one.There's only about a dozen different keys for each brand.

On the OMC's the unique key number is usually stamped on the side of the key switch. Once you pull the switch out and find the number, you can get any key number from a Bombardier dealer. Mercs should be the same way.

It's a lot easier to do what I did.I've done it a couple of times.Once for an OMC and once for a Merc.
