I bought a Javelin 400TE witha 1996 johnson 225 on it, when I test drove it two different times it had no issues. Then I bought it and took it out for the first time and it started right up, boomed out to my first fishing hole just perfectly. I fished for an hour, started it up and put the hammer down and it bogged and fell on its face. It did it multiple times before I could ease it out of the hole and finally get it on plane. Once on plane it works great, it seems to only do it after the boat is warmed up and only under load. If you trim the motor up to put it on the trailer it revs great, if you put it in neutral it revs great, its just when I'm trying to get out of the hole. I saw similar issues on forums but they didn't really give the a solid solution but I've noticed the guys on this forum are very helpful and concerned. Thanks for any info in advance. btw I already changed the plugs to no avail.
