Well the problem with my pump is the diaphragm was shot trying to get a rebuild and local omc dealer said not a chance only a new pump do they make a kit or a pump that will work that's not 125
Step #1 is to take your pump apart.---Then lay out the parts.----Then compare pictures of parts in various repair kits.----Pick the repair kit that closly resembles your pump innards and has the correct diaphragm.-----Some parts you can throw away !!
Does anyone have a close up picture of the fuel pump on that motor I marked it how it came apart but am wondering if the previous owner had it apart before and put it back wrong thanks
Forgot that my father in law has a 1972 18hp went and looked at that and got it back together did the blow test and works right now to test it tommorrow
