I don't have the exact year right this second but the link above is to a post that has a picture in it. The picture is the exact starter, bracket, and solenoid as mine has. I am trying to get this starter bracket off but I am missing something somewhere. Does the solenoid have to come off to remove the bracket? If so, how does the solenoid come off? I removed the three obvious bolts that I seen from the bracket as well as the two bolts on the throttle linkage cable clamp.

I have to get the starter bracket off in order to get to a bolt that holds the carb in.

I also found this post:

Both are helpful but if you look at the first post with the picture, I don't noticeably see any strap that holds the solenoid to the bracket.

The green circle is where the strap bolts on and holds the throttle linkage
The blue circle is where one of the 3 bolts I managed to locate and remove already
The red circle is where another one of the 3 bolts I managed to located and remove already(it doubles as a grounding post)

The third bolt I found and managed to remove was around the bracket on the other side you can't see in this picture near the carburetor at the top of the bracket.
