1948 ( (I think) Evinrude 3 hp outboard<br />dead one cylinder<br />I think it's not pulling vacuum<br />crankshaft cover comes apart, the cover is part of the seal. It is also part of the bushing which holds<br />the crankshaft. <br /><br />What material do I use to make a very thin sealant gasket? It looks like lacquer or something was<br />used last time.<br />Any suggestions?
