I currently have a 1995 inline 4 cylinder Mercury Jet 30 HP on my old 1973 Smoker Craft flat bottom sled. It is in excelent condition but I need to use full throtle most the time to move the boat up river at a decient speed. I'm thinking about buying a 1996 Johnson 115/80 HP Jet motor to relpace it with. I just want more power. The 30 hp motor works good but needs more power is some situations so I have an opportunity to get the Johnson. What are your opinions.
