evinrude 5.5 fisherman

I have owned several mercs for years and recently picked up a project 5.5 evinrude fisherman 5512. I have 2 fuel lines which run through the bottom right of motor, which are both cut off. What are the 2 hoses?

Man you got a old one. 1956 Model.<br />You will need a special fuel tank to run that puppy unless you convert the fuel pump to the newer style. One lines feeds the engine fuel and the other basically supplies the tank with pressure for fuel to flow.
