The head gasket has an arrow which will go towards the exhaust. Torque up to 20 ft lbs in a couple of stages. Work from the center of the head towards the outside edges. The factory gaskets have a coating on them, so no gasket sealer is required. I would retorque after the engine goes through a couple of heat/cool cycles.
