I replaced power pack no help. How can a stator stop spark if it only to charge battery.I have a manual and have performed all tests all are ok Iwill order new stator. But how about the timerbase under stator.I am new to outboardsand would appreaceate any help

The stator on your motor does more than charge the battery. It provides the energy to charge the capacitor discharge ignition a seperate circuit. It is easy to trouble shoot. Disconnect the black/yellow wire and give it a try.

Thanks for the quick response I have already tried removing the black and yellow wire still no spark at any cylinder. I also disconnected the red connector and and used switch on starter relay still no spark. all ohm and resistance reading are ok per the manual Thanks
