Berryman's B-12 and a 2-stroke engine

Could I put some Berryman's B-12 Chemtool in the fuel tank of my 1969 Evinrude 9.5 hp O/B, to help clean the carb and cylinders? Will it hurt anything?

Do it all the time....VERY good stuff! MIX per directions.

In a motor like your 9.5, a strong solvent will soften and eventually disolve the varnish on the carburetor's cork float. The cork will absorb thefuel and not float as well, then causing flooding and rich running.
